What you can donate

Our high street shops will accept most items, but here are some ideas to get you started:

Music and films – whether you've outgrown your indie rock phase or no longer want your Simpsons collection, we are always looking for donations of books, videos, DVDs, CDs and vinyl records.

Clothing – from individual vintage and retro pieces to the latest fashion trends and must-have classics.

Please help us by donating your unwanted items

Books – don't let old books gather dust – donate them to us instead. Our charity shops sell a whole range of second hand books from bestsellers to cook books.

Accessories – people are looking for pearls, purses and pumps to brighten up their wardrobes.

Homewares – we love donations of ornaments, kitchenware, glassware, crockery, pictures, vases, collectables and soft furnishings.

Toys and games – bored of board games? Outgrown your Matchbox cars? What's wrong for you may be right for one of our shoppers.

Other items

Some of our shops are even able to take items of furniture or small electrical goods (excluding kitchen 'white' goods), so if you have something slightly out of the ordinary, be sure to check with your local Cancer Research UK shop as they may be able to put it to good use.

If you have any queries about donating goods, please email us and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.

Drop a bag off at your local shop

It's easy to get involved – just dig out your unwanted clothes, books or accessories, bag them up and drop them off at your local Cancer Research UK shop.
