Could you spare some time to support your local shop?
Just a few hours a week can make a real difference, whether it’s on the till, on the shop floor or behind the scenes.
Without the loyalty and dedication of our 16,500 volunteers, our shops wouldn't be able to make such a great contribution to beating cancer.
Volunteering is a great way to get involved
Sue Keddy began volunteering at the Cancer Research UK shop in Romsey over ten years ago after moving to the area. Since joining, Sue has survived breast cancer and continued to volunteer her time in support of Cancer Research UK.
"The shop is so nice and friendly and I have so many good friends – it is such a fantastic atmosphere." Sue Keddy – Survivor and Cancer Research UK shop volunteer

Join the NVQ scheme
We’re giving our shop volunteers the chance to gain an NVQ as they work with us. Put learning into practice and gain a nationally recognised qualification. |
